Dr. James Davis is an Associate Professor and Physician of Internal Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. He is Medical Director of the Duke Center for Smoking Cessation, Founder and Director of the Duke Smoking Cessation Program, and Co-Director of the Duke-UNC Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program. Dr. Davis developed the evidence-based intervention Mindfulness Training for Smokers and conducts research on development of new smoking cessation pharmacotherapies.
