Aviva Grasso has a Masters in Public Health, focusing on Health Behavior and Health Education, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's from Smith College. She has been with the NYC Department of Health since 2011, and the Tobacco Programs and Policy unit since 2020. Aviva started her public health career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon, Central Africa and has worked for a state Health Department as well as non-profit and advocacy organizations. She enjoys sharing data and other resources with community-based organizations. She lives in NYC with her husband and two children.
